Don't make an effort, take her out for lunch, go to a Bakers and buy some sausage rolls and some Cokes, you don't want to waste money on making good impressions.

With the money you saved from the restraurant, go on Overclockers UK, buy yourself a PowerColor ATI Radeon X850 XT 256MB for £150, you've got a good MoBo and good processor so you need a good GFX card mate.

Link to the site:here (it's the fifth card down)

It would reduce you're chance of getting a shag, but let's face it, a fancy resaurant is no guarantee tongue.gif

fucking hell Sellers!!

£100 a head you could get a chef to come to your own house and do a 5 course meal with drinks!

Seriously, what more you gonna get for £100.. at £20 the steaks dont taste any better, and unless you are a REAL wine buff, I doubt you could tell the difference between a £10 bottle of red and a £400 bottle.. I will you some credit and say you would notice the difference between £3 and £10 tho wink.gif

If its for a girl... for the love of god, ask what food she likes first! Be VERY embaressing if you book a lovely £100 meal to find out she is vegan, or wont eat fish, or cant eat nuts, doesnt like wine, feels uncomfortable in cozy restaraunts.. etc.. etc...

ohmy.gif Is this a first date Sellers? If it is then don't even think about spending anywhere near that amount!

For the love of God don't go reciting one of those girly poems you put in your signature jump.gif

Seriously though you want to spend that much on some food yet you wont buy a £150 GFX card! tongue.gif

You'd have to make sure that she's got a passport though, make sure she has one and that she wants to go with you before you buy the tickets or you'll be taking Goody over to Paris for a romantic dinner firedevil.gif

£200 would get you 10 lap dances at a decent venue
or 1 and a half bottles of Cristal Champagne wink.gif

Wot sort of food you after - modern european, japanese, italian, british, indian etc?

£200? Holy Testicle Tuesday batman! that's fookin insane. Lovely grub can be had for a quarter that price! You spend that much she'll think you're rich and can afford to spend that on her all the time, or that you are trying to compensate for something, or that you are Richard Gere from Pretty Woman (only uglier tongue.gif ), in all fairness like save the money on getting her drunk is my advice wink.gif

It ain't all about the money y'know!

That's some sound advice from Wedge, Tef, Crawly, Shippy, Morphee and me tongue.gif

I really do believe that the GFX card I said about would be a really good buy though Sellers, you'd be able to play CS:S with everything maxed out, you'd be able to play BF2 on at least medium with dynamic shadows and AA. If I had a decent MoBo and Processor like you have, I would upgrade to that GFX card without a doubt in my mind.

I don't mean to take the piss or anything, but I was playing about with a Bombay subtitles movie making thing and made this here

I know you're always up for a laugh Sellers and that you won't take it the wrong way. smile.gif

Nice link Fret, thats ace!

in fact £200 would get you erm.. 6 high class hookers in Amsterdam for an hour each!

apparently! so I am .. erm.. led to believe...

typically I tend to end up spending around £50 for me n girlie to eat out, and thats at a nice place with a nice bottle of wine! Some REALLY good food joints in Manchester, of every kind of cuisine, and due to the competition to get you in, even the like of Heathcotes can be under £20 a head for 3 courses!
