While I dont suffer much lag thought I would run Ping Plotter during the day. Results are generally good. As can be seen BT suffer the odd spike now and then but thats daytime for you when the network is at its busiest.

Might run one in the evening.

SO COME ON ALL YOU WHO ARE MOANING ABOUT LAG. PROVIDE RESULTS SO WE CAN SEE WHAT IS GOING ON!!!

I need the results from a lagger, at a time they are lagging, to send to the DC so they can tell me it's not a connectivity or server problem :}

When I was playing around 7pm, some of the regulars were shouting about lag. Experienced a couple of spikes where I would jump back a little but nothing major that I would complain about.

On the contary, some have said removing the mods has not made any difference.

So is it their network connection or the server connection. No doubt that the mods probably cause a small about of lag now and then but somehow I dont think they are the cause. If they were all the other servers that run these common mods would also have these problems.

It's very easy for the player to blame the server when it could be their connection or even their PC. Everyone connects through different ISPs hence why some are affected more than others.

Yeah Snowy, I was playing last night the server was fine, but Dust3 came on and a couple of people were complaining about lag, I didn't notice any, but I suspect those with lag also have shite computers, on my old PC i'd get less than 20fps in the middle room of that map, but now I dont drop below 40fps.

hi
it would seem that your server along with ours is having major network problems. This traceroute was started at 19:30 on 30/01/06 the red lines are server timeouts

FYI guys, NTL are experiencing problems - some of em are "planned" you will have connectivity issue type problems, some of em are "oops, something broke" type things.

So if you are an NTL customer, moan to them, not us ;D

If you are an.other type customer, do the pingplot thing (Which nobody has yet done!) and send it over, also stating who your ISP is.

thanks
