DONT vote if it don't matter cause you are coming anyways, I also need to know when you vote who you are, cause this will affect my decision of dates :P

AS I said last night I had to make the dates coinside with the cashing of giro's so the |ZW| clan would have a chance of being able to participate in the festivities. biggrin.gif

Don't get voteing if the dates don't matter.

Oh yeah and Tef you a slag

I have now voted for the 14th. This would suit me better because I might have to do oncall on the 22nd.

So is 14th looking good for everyone else?

this is the reply I got from the cyber cafe:

Hi,

In answer to your questions:

1. All our pc's use headphones which we feel gives each gamer the best sense of immersion in the game (as well as not annoying any surfers who might be in)

2 & 3. the lowest spec machines are 667MHz P3's with 32MB gfx. We have 4 2100+ Athlons with 128Mb gfx cards, as well as 5 other 1.3GHz AMD's with GForce Pro gfx cards. We have run a number of cs tournaments here with up to 16 players without problems. All our gaming machines have optical mice (you can bring your own if you prefer) and 9 PC's have 19" monitors (others are all 17").

4. We don't have a license to sell drink, but if you book the whole place we can supply some at competitive prices. We can also offer a range of hot food if you let us know what your preferences are (pizza, sarnies, veggie etc). We have a range of chocs and hot/cold drinks available at all times)

5 & 6. We specialise in private bookings and can usually accomodate any requests given enough advance notice. To book the whole place will depend on what time you arrive and whether you want the place exclusively to yourselves. But to hire the place exclusively from 3.30pm for 3 hours would cost £96 inc VAT.

Please don't hesitate to contact me should you require any more details. Thank you for considering e-horizon for your gaming experience.

Yours

Jon Kitts

right it looks like we ain't gonner have a minibus as it is a bit pricey although I did ask timmmeh last night and it def looks like he'll be there, rolo is a maybe, luger and 1more and albino are defs as well alnog with CP2 and probably chop chop, so we are looking at around the 15 mark, the only thing is it may be an Idea to get some grub booked for around 9 or 10pm, so if any of you brightonians can sort that then that will be a great help, I'll mail the cyber cafe guy and book the venue.

Top $. Sounds like we will be having a great time out. We could always ask a local cab company how much they would charge to take a number of us down in a people carrier.

Right, guys, checked the venue out.

Easy walk from the station and 5-10 mins into the heart of brighton

Nice big room, about 8-9 pcs per side.
Shaded windows so no glare
Good chairs some real recliners smile.gif

Each PC is on a shelf above/behind the monitor so pluggin our own phones in will be no prob

The min spec PC is a 700mghz P3, still good enough for CS at any rate... most of them are above that... We can fight over who gets the best biggrin.gif

Looks like a sweeet venue for gaming banana.gif banana.gif banana.gif

Oh and by the way, the place you went to last time as a last resort... it's gone under :P
