think ts time to chuck that heap of shit in the bin now lads, the server is officially critically ill and doesnt have long left, need a nice new one so i can own on a non laggy server

but in all seriousness its getting unbearable reboot works for a few maps then lags again.

I reckon it is probably more the data connection from the server rather than the actual server me thinks...

it is a brand new server or was at least 6 months ago, its got to be something easy, i've never me a brainy it slag.

My pc was a bit slow and gfx settings on medium, or low for css, but read the technicle section, i just upgraded, got a new (PCI-E) gfx card and 1 gig RAM now, and now it runs BF2 on full GFX settings. so go flame somene elses computer, coz u cant flame mine anymore

the server is quite bad when its full about 21-26 ppl on it, but with about 12 - 14 ppl not so bad at all,
and i told every1 who is complaining boout lag to do ping plot... so hopefully get alot of results soon

I am fairly sure its network..

all ports, and both boxes are doing the same...

And I havent changed anything in months!

Rebooted box now.. its been up for 6 months..

yeah but thunder you are probably running at a lower level of directX. If you buy an older card then the hardware level of the card is most likely to be directX8 it dosn't really matter what software level you have. so you can be running stuff at full settings in DirectX 8 but it is still only a low - medium in comparison to a card running with a hardware level of directX 9 (geforce 6,7 series ati x800, x1000 series).
