Ok, i havnt been on CS:S or HL2 for nearly a month now since i got BF2. but i decided to play CS yesterday and it just crashed and closed - so i uninstalled it and reinstalled then left it to download CS overnight, and now i have the same error... can n e one help plz ?

BTW i think the forims File attachment thing is broken - couldnt upload to the forums image folder (or something like that)

Hey, I can't play CSS or HL2 either. Ah wait, my pc was stolen, that might explain it

so, does anyone know why its crashing ? BTW i uninstalled steam and all CS files and folders, then reinstalled steam and downloaded CSS and im still getting the same error. any ideas ?

please help me someone, i really wanna get back on CS again, havnt played for a couple of months now. i have reinstaled CS nearly 3 times now and the same error keeps popping up. Please Help someone.....

I think this is the error where u need to delete a certain file each time u want to load cs. I'll try find out which file it is my m8 has to do it each time.

it's not the trusty client.blob is it?

well, someone did say on another topic i started that deleting registry.blob did something, but that wasnt about CS crashing, that was about map downloads.... il try it... let u all know in a mo

Well no luck. well, at least i dont get the error message anymore.

i deleted clientregistry.blob from C:Program FilesValveSteam and closed it then restarted steam, it updated, t5hen logged in. started CSS and it got to the loading screen then just closed for some strange reason (similar problem to gingerbreadman's)

pleas help, im dying to get back on CS with u biatches again....

Mine doesn't close.

Mine plays for a bit then freezes, it's liek a screenshot but wiv what ever last sound i here.

rite, still cant get on CSS, but since i deleted clientregistry.blob. Battlefield 2 is just randomly closing every now and then. im gonna do a complete recovery of the PC and start from scratch.... il let u know what happens tomorrow..

just formatted my pc after putting docs on dvd, (didnt do it when i said i would coz i didnt have the time to) Re installed steam and downloaded CSS and im still getting the same error message. any more advice ???

W()()T !! at fookin last, i have uninstalled steam and deleted the whole valve folder, reinstalled and downloaded css and im back on !!! first time back on css with new gfx n stuff and im getting an average of 63.7 fps !
