Its gonna be $599 is the us so about £450-£500 with the premium we pay in the uk.Should work well with intels core duo 2 they had a dell system at E3 and its scores in all tests were huge about 30-40% quicker than a fx-62 which is 2.8ghz yet the intel chip was only running at 2.4 lol

Yep the 2.4 is the 1 to get ant it looks great spec wise and is going to about £200-£250 in the uk what a bargain.Plus u may as well get quad sli and 4 gig of corsiar epp sli advanced ram should cost u about £2000 not bad.Plus get a bigger TFT as your 24" dell is outta date now Maybe a 30" imagine crysis running ant u know it makes sense

mate you know its going to happyn. im hoping that nvidia will release the nforce5 platform for the conroe chips and then it will be all ahead go
as for the 30" dell there was a problem with the earlier batches of them where the backlight wasnt even. i belive its solved now but id rather wait a few months to make sure all the dodgy ones are out of the system
oh and the price comes down another 100 quid.
4gig of ram will be on the list as well
muwhwhwhw.
/me starts saving some more.

sweet.
yer i was tempted with one purely as you get a much faster card for about the same price as just one on its own! sub 400 is awsome for the reference design.
also they u got quad sli ablitiy for when you want to buy the 30" monitor
mmmm
also supporting HDCP aparently will mean u will be able to use them for HD movies etc..
tempted..
