yeah looking at 19" rather than 17" now.
the Samsung SM-920N 19" LCD Monitor or Acer AL1917AS 19" LCD Monitor.
but i did want a response rate about 4, but 8ms is reasonable?

I use 13ms, which does me fine, but then again my powerhouse of a pc got nicked, so maybe it would have looked bad on that. 8ms should be fine.

acctually katie you still have refresh rates on a crt, they were just different numbers, 65 - 75 hz or something was the standard.
And Wedge, i would like to point out that chester is still the strangest person i've ever spoke too

did you make a decision yet Vimto?
also Vizor tft does have a refresh rate, what the ms bollox it all about is the response time of the pixels changing, where as the refresh rate is the number of times persecond it will re-draw the screen as it were.

You'd be suprised how much difference it can make.
You double the grey to grey response time to get the active (black) to inactive (white) and back to active (black) response time, making a 8ms difference.

Hehe, im not interested in what technical difference it makes. I play with a lovely dell machien with all graphics on low. I don't think i have any less fun than anyone else on the server, so what REAL difference does it make.
