21 people were on the server just now and it was completely unplayable, worse than the old server, the lag is back with avengeance.

Must admit it was the first time i have been on the new server when it had 10+ players. At first i ddidnt find it to bad a few stutters here and there but as time whent on about 5-10 mins things started to go abit pear shaped with the server.

Can i ask....is this server a shared box? Or is this a dedicated box where you have full access to do what you will with it?

yeah its a dedicated box this is where i think the problem is, had it have been an exsisting box we prolly wouldn't have had this problem with just a 24 man slot.
4u had to buy a new server for us, and i think that this is part of the problem, in there hurry to get it up and running it obviously wasn't tested enough before being released to us.
oh well it will get sorted soon and this issue will be forgotten about.

cheers punter its good that some of our regulars should acknowlege this, we are putting alot into this for you guys, and always have tbh without the likes of tef, snowy, tempy and dawg it wouldn't be half the sever it is now.

Thanks guys for good comments inbetween the bad ones about the server. I agree it is not what it should be but we are trying to get it sorted.

I have contacted support yet again for an answer to what is going on.... reading the forums, there are others running 3 servers, team speak etc on there dedicated box.... although they are on AMD64 bit machines....

Hi again guys, been on holiday for 2 weeks and was chuffed to see there was a new server (from the Steam Server Browser) so I hopped straight on. Everything was running as smooth as a baby's bum until there were more than 16 players on the server. At this point it went steadily downhill until it reached about 22 players at which point it was unplayable until a few ppl left.
