Seen this work well on other servers and build up popular followings and it could well build up biatch again,

how about from midnight till about 5pm you run the server as a dust 2 only server, most people that play the game during the day are bums, addicts and pros. so wheen us working men get home and come on there should be plenty of people on the server to have a good laugh with. an idea what u lot think may be worth a trial.

I would of thought though if we had 3-4 great maps on rotation at that time would be better, say...

dust
dust 2
office
aztec

or something. Worth trying both.

Also we noticed last night that our server werent appearing on the server list which means no one can find us. Once we have this sorted the server should become busy again.

Something else has come to light recently, Enkidu mentioned it when I saw him Saturday night that he has tried finding our server in the server list on steam, but could not find it.Tef said the same thing on the server last night.

I don't know why this is, but those old regs that used to play might not even know that we have a new server. Tef said he game Snowy the email addys for forum members, we should email then. Snowy pull your finger out, or I'll do it.

Snowy also needs to contact the server company or something, find out why we aren't on it.

yeah i tried to find the f00ker in the server list too and it just ain't there - that will be the biggest problem.

Server now appears in list. Contacted INX and it looks like it might have been my fault... didnt have a region parm set. I can now see our server in EUROPE.

Certainly can trial the map thing. Will look at doing this.

And yep very poor show.

Tef you have the mailing list. Why dont you mail everyone using a temporary biatch id.

ye i think that wud be a gud idea cos every 1 loves abit of dust_2 but try 2 avoid maps like aztec and dust that r abit 1 sided cos they just piss ppl off

poor show was due to the fact i got a tortoise!! so been fussing over her all night lol

sorry guys.

N dust isn't as popular as u may think, a hell of alot of people hate it because it's biased, same with aztec...dust2 and office i have no complaints with tho

Another idea would be to stop kicking and banning as often ( especially the regulars ). We all understand that its your server and you can do what you like..but it seems like everyone has fucked off like you suggest

Everyone has there moments and most the time the ' bad lads ' are only having abit of fun.

One thing that is getting popular is the CS Gun Game mod..alot of servers changing over to it lately, not sure if you can run normal maps and then have the odd GG map running in sequence ?

We check biatch everytime we play..but with it being empty ( except the bots ) theres no point going on so end up finding a random server normally full of germans


Getting it in the main list like you have will be a good start..hopefully it will pick back up..thoughwe had similar problems with BF servers and they gradually died.

Scotteh there hasn't been any kickin or bannin for a long while except Vimto's one which was deserved. I think the fact that the server now being on the search engine should start to sort stuff out. I like the comment at start of post but Aztec is a map that makes ppl leave (on the whole). Dust/Dust2/Office would be a great choice.

Not all the banning gets reported..it happened alot when people played on the server. Ive personally been banned on 2 occasions and kicked alot more for trivial stuff. Not moaning, just stating that its a possible cause

Hopefully it fills back up soon. If you guys plan on getting on one night a week..let us know when it is and others might join in
