Things that rule about CS:S
1) you can kick tyres and barrels around - it really does feel like you are kicking too! (sort of)
2) when you die, which I did often, you fold to the ground in a nice, graceful, yet strangely tragic and moving way
3) better blood!
4) when you get blinded by a flash grenade, you also get deafened (the "bang" part of "flashbang") and when your vision returns, you get a weird fuzzy effect when you move around for a few seconds after.
5) you move REALLY fast in ghost mode
6) fog!
7) just play it you schlaags

1) Obviously needs a fair bit of polishing, being beta and all
2) I still die a lot

I do
the new textures in the maps. I found the hitboxes to be a little off too, which seemed to be backed up by what others were saying.
Flash is wicked and I also like the way you can kick things around.
The legs of the players also seemed to be a little long compared to rest of body.
Like you say Crawly, still needs a lot of tarting up etc but all looks very promising.

it's a bit annoying how (so it seemed) you can only roll barrels in the direction they are facing at the start of the map, i.e. you can't roll them wherever you want, only in a straight line - you can't turn them around a bit and roll them all over the shop. It would r0x0r if you could roll barrels up to the double doors in dust to make it harder for the CTs to get in once you have planted the bomb...
