Hi Snowy,

I just saw you adding some bots to the server, I guess you were trying out the new server side commands.

Can I make a suggestion?
Could you add bots to the server so that people can't just scrounge points by planting bombs with no enemies?
If it was possible to add bots so that they were on server until 4 or more humans joined then they disappeared then we could still play on the server if there were only a couple of us but the annoying bots would leave when more players arrived.

Just a suggestion.

I only put BOTS on because I was testing some stuff out then thought could leave them on if there is only 1 human player playing. So basically as soon as 2 human players are on, there will be NO bots.

Good point about affecting the ranks and scores etc. Not sure if there is a way to stop them counting towards your rank. If there aint, then I will take em off again.

Also updated the MOTD when you join.

Also created some reserved slots

The server is showing as "out of date" so that after the application of the new update you can't join it.

Shut the fuck up wedge After i rolled back to the old admin mod they went. And now with the beta i ve put on, I ve also decided not to turn them on because they annoyed me and I know they would annoy others and that would mean loosing people.

So check before you squeal next time you slag

As for letting others play around well, someone has to. You need to move with the times... and lets face it, no offence to Muppet, he aint been around much lately... apart from myself and Matha we are the only ones that seem to be on the server at some point in the evenings. So we took it on ourselves to at least make some changes.

As the saying goes, if you dont like it then "fuck off"

I see no reason to remove the bots.... they are happy playing on there own when no one is using the server and as soon as people arrive they go.

Anyone else care to make constructive comments on bots?

This one is out of our control due to the new Steam release this morning. We have asked our Host to get is sorted ASAP but I wouldnt expect it back much before early evening....they have a habit of taking their time

Most people that play on the server, have never been on there.

Yeah this is what I have done....could always add more if you think it needs it....mainly said if problems with admin mod then go to forum and report it..... but can change in due course.

I have a life but not between getting home from work and early evening, thats chillin time.... but then again I will have plenty on time on my hands soon.... already started winding down by "working from home" for the next couple of weeks.

The scoring side has always been like that I am sure.

What is up with the server? Is it working after the Steam update?
