i was band 2day by squee because he got a message saying i may have been cheating i was not cheating i dnt even no how 2 i love the biatch clan server and would love it if i was 2 b allowd 2 play on it agen i met new friends like thetemp n devil dog n duce n rimmer hu neva accused me of hakin and no i dnt althou duce did but he acuses every1 of hakin hehe pls get bk 2 me asap ty

i jus have spoke 2 my friend hu had been on the biatch clan he sed that if u have used sv_cheats on your own server it will cum up on the detector i did use sv_cheats on my own server to freeze the bots so that i could get screenshots of them i hope that if this was the reason it can b resolved lol am dyin 2 get bk on d server so i can kill sum of your ho's hehe thnx agn

As far as i'm concerned, =@nim@l= is a good lad, never given any lip, takes the shit when given, and has gotten into the BIATCH spirit which makes the server so enjoyable for everyone.

Whether or not he's cheating, I don't know and to be honest his character doesn't have any indication on whether he's cheating or not.

We need to sort out if there's any doubt on whether bettlemod is flagging up wrong'uns or not, because it seems a shame to lose a good lad over a mistake.

On a personal note, it's my birthday monday, i've just got back from the pub, and i'm pretty fucked on jack daniels.

i totaly agree with u Temp =@nim@l= is a good lad and all ways respectfull to all the players on the server ,

1 thing i can suggest is that the ppl that have been cought for 1 reason or another should un-install ALL STEAM and then re-install ,

up to now 3 ppl that have been cought that i thought that would never use a hack ( for 1 reason or another ) But there r some genuin players on the server who try to get better , but they aint going to get better when playing against a cheet ,

Now just before u jump down my neck a didnt accuse u nor would i the beetlemod did

eek, best get investigating. I wouldnt have said that animal was a cheater. but who knows.

what i would do though would be to restore all original skins as these can some times be flagged.

ive never been a fan of custom skins, has been known to give an unfair advantage.

you will have to wait and see what the biatch guys get back to you with.

Go to http://www.beetlesmod.com/forums/ and sign up then go to forums and read up on the anti-cheat installed in beetlesmod.
The admins there are saying that if you get "strike 1" that means nothing, if you get "strike 2" then probley and "strike 3" definatley cheating.They say there is no doubt that it is "not"making any errors if you get "strike 3" but they dont want to say too much because it will help the wankers who code the hax to avoid Beetlesmod detection.

i would say that the mod is looking for for specific things related to HLH and other client hooks, i would be certain that it will have nothing to do with sv-cheats enabled this would leave nothing on your computer.
Some peole say they have "downloaded a cheat just to see how it worked" then removed it from their computer,iff you have done this i would "delete your Steam folder" and re-install as you will have left bits and bats on your system that you can not see.
I hope Beetlesmod keeps ahead of the haxors and keeps up the good work, however just remember that they do say "1 STRIKE" means nothing.

Dont think its a skins thing Phat.. but your right anything except default skins is really cheating thats why in matches you have to take screen shots of your cs. But i would say just have a "DEFAULT CS-SOURCE" no problems.

This is what i was explaining on the sever all that strike one is doing is creating a witch hunt which spoils the good mood on the sever.

Please can be pay heed to what is said here "strike one means nothing" as for baning for strike 1 ...... seems a bit much as it auto bans at strike 4 for a reason

What i would like to ask is strikes levels or the amount of times they get caught ie

if beetles thinks his hacking 4 times in a row he gets baned or that beetles can prove (confirm) stright out he will get a strike 4 no question ask.

You only hit Strike 1 which basically says that maybe something wasnt quite right but you never hit anymore. Using sv_cheats will not cause Beetlesmod to think you cheat as this is a valid Steam parm anyway.

I have removed your ban mate.

I am also going to change the settings so that it is not flashed up on screen but only to Admin and logged. As Anubis has said, it can give a false impression to people that everyone that someone cheats just because they hit strike 1. I think this is fair.

As for Admins banning people because they see Strike 1 come up, should not take action but let BeetlesMod decide... if it comes up with Strike 2 or 3 then sure but by then I think it would of hit 4 and they would be auto banned. Is that fair?

lo all i was banned agen the other day and then unbanned i have removed my custom skins, sounds etc n everythin seems to b fine

but when i had them on i lukd in the console when connecting 2 a server and it sed sumthin like

cvars canot b used in multiplayer unless sv_cheats is set to 1

i took the skins off and it doesnt say that but sumtimes it does so its defo a skin thats causing beetlemod to thnk am hakin and oviously when i take my skins off i may be leaving 1 still in there

i like my custom skins and was wondering if beetlemod did a personal scanning program so that i could scan my files to c what 1s are causing it

Snowy, if someone admits to being a cheat then the cnut should be banned from our servers as far as I'm concerned - how do you know they ain't gonna try to cheat on our server?
