Was playing with Wolffy on the UAC server and we were just lookin at some maps, a couple struck me as really cool and I think they would make a great addition to the BIATCH server

1 of the many remakes of the old de_nuke map. This one is very very good, lots of detail, steam coming out the floor, underwater reactors and this map actually includes EXPLOSIVE BARRELS

Cool map set in a multi leveld building, looks like shotgun wielders would be very happy with this. Best things about the map are : chopper on the roof, an elevator that kills u when u get in it , T spawn has a dead managerial type lying on the floor when you start but the best thing about this whole map is the CT spawn. Start in a large room with a fountain in the middle and if you look up you see a hostage fall out of a helicopter smash thru the glass roof and break every bone in its body as it hits various objects on the way down

Just thort you might like to check them out if you can find time away from your beer Don't know what site they would be on as they came with the map pack thats on the UAC server.

Both of those maps can be downloaded from Csrike-palnet (http://www.cstrike-planet.com/maps). X-Com is 32mb so be warned, it takes a while to download from the server, and even longer to upload!

Nukes_b6 is a good map, but B9 is a bit better, slightly more detail etc!

But the map you really need to get is Cableyard!

Yeah played xcom before, it's a good little map. I already suggested that one to Snowy, he said :

I looked at the pics for the Xcom map which TheTemp mentioned. Looks ok but not sure if it will be one of those people will enjoy.

Another one that has been suggested by cowboy is Crook County or something. Haven't played any of the de_go_nukes yet.

Any chance you could take a look at some of these new(ish) ones Snowy?

think we got de go nuke on our map list, jus list the maps tempy and it will come up.

Crook County is a great map, but it is a total 96mb in size!

Massive map that will take people ages to download from the server!

ive alleady downloaded cable yard and crook county antisipating them going on the map list like scrappy said i can get them from www.cstrike-planet.com or http://www.banana.nu/ beach assault is the 1 i need to get now

These new maps are now on the server etc. They are NOT in the map cycle. Admins change to them when you fancy. Let me know if you want any of them in the map cycle.

right ... have downloaded all those maps and am ready to go, a couple of the maps i downloaded didnt come with .nav files, do you have them on the server? also i would recomend that every one who is a regular must download at least crookcounty as you will totally miss the map if you try and download it off the server.

yeah i do have one or two your phone bill must be high wedge using dial-a-friend each day, mind you, you must have made some friends standing at the end of the train platform while doing your favourite hobby

errr I no its only just been put on but i played beachassault for the first time tonight

Can't say as i enjoyed it and I dont think many people did either

plus it dropped my fps badly but maybe thats just my stone age comp
