Does this actually work for anyone?

Mine hasnt been working for what seems like 6+ months, in fact i cant remember the last time its worked.

I've never used it. I heard it was shit and didn't bother! Something that has just been reafirmed i feel.

Mine has never worked, now I don't even bother with it. The last few times I tried it, it wouldn't even sign in.

it used to work.
and valve have said in the past that they are trying to "improve" it but it hasnt worked for me for a good 6 months as well.

yeh it did work when source first came out.. but after a few updates it fook up
