tef told me to get me arse on the server, i had never played cs before but was into first person shooters.
i had never played online before so tef sent me all the download sites for cs and i installed them onto me machine.
it was a tuesday night (as that used to be biatch night) about march 2003
the reason i new it was march was that as soon as i turned up on the server tef pmed me to tell me that subs were due and i owed him £40 tongue.gif
so i played with the lads and thought i did quite well, i finished with more kills than tef ( at that point he had lead me to believe he was some cs killing machine verycool.gif ) so i was happy.

then it hit me the cs bug 7 days a week 5 hours a night any spare time i was on trying to get better, all that sun i missed all those episodes of eastenders, the purchase of a fridge next to my pc to keep my beer cool while i was playing the only thing in my life, the fact that my daughter and son call me wedgie, i can't remeber the last time i had an intelligent conversation with my wife.

i fukking love cs although i dont play as regular now i enjoy it more rock.gif

that'll do donkey, that'll do

The reality of course, is quite different.

Wedgie was bragging about how he liked to sit there in the dark playing with himself - (s)hitman 2 or something like that, and I pointed him towards a real mans game.

The funny thing is that wedgie and his uncle luger saw me play and both agreed I was a good player - which just goes to show that inbreeding DOES produce idiots biggrin.gif

I did used to be okay at it - back in the old days me and mupps would both be near enough the top scorers...but maybe nobody else was playing on the server at the time unsure.gif
Since them, age, lack of time and general shiteness have kicked in so I can't even hit big f00kers like wedgie and devil sad.gif

As fir intelligent conversations with u missus - well the reason u can't remember the last one is u have never HAD one with her laugh.gif

Hummmm where to start ........

I suppose it first started when i was playing UT2004 i was lookin for a clan so i installed x-fire checkin the forums out and i found a lot of ppl playing CS:S ,so i sent the misses out to get it for me ( little did i know i would meet u wankers tongue.gif )

I installed the game and was eager to play , i was lookin through the server list and seen BIATCH server all lit up , straight away i thought my kind of server ,Now the first ppl i came across was matha , now he was a screem allways going off on 1 i was laffing my tits off all the time, and goody with his brummy accent what a screem i had .

Now what nearly put me off was hastings and the other little wanker that got banned for racially calling some 1 which i totaly dissagree with

But i stuck arround and made some awsome friends and decided to apply to be a HO biggrin.gif

Now im stuck at my puter playing CS:S 8 hours a day the misses going ape shit at me on the puter all the time , but u know something , i couldnt give a fuck, i found an awsome server with a great bunch of lads biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Hmm.. I've been playing since day 1.

Played deathmatch HL until CS came out.

Used to play against collegues lunchtimes at my old company (acclaim).

I think it was me who converted Muppet to CS and HL.

Now I only get a chance to play on clan nights now, sometimes an hour or two mid week, its harder for me to play as I dont have a pc at home so I have to stay in at work to play sad.gif

I use to be really good at the game, back in the old days when I played an hour or so a day.
Sniper king was me... Matha can vouch for that
(boom you're dead, boom you're dead, boom you're dead).

Now Im just not good enough, I dont get enough practice and dont take it seriously anymore.

Still I love it.

I have always been into lan gaming on the PC. Used to meet up with friends once a week/fortnight and play deathmatch on duke nuken 3d, blood, and quake/quake 2 etc.

Then we moved on to Half Life which was great fun. Some of my mates started playing counterstrike, but I never really tried it.

Towards the end of last year I started saving little bits of cash here and there to upgrade my PC because HL2 was coming and I knew my bucket of shite wouldn't run it.

Everytime I got a bit of cash, it would go straight into my savings envelop until around about Feb this year I completely upgraded my PC, bought HL2 and loved it.

My mates kept saying you gotta play CS Source, I was like nah I'm playing HL2 it's great.

I decided to give it a go one day, and I never went back to HL2, still haven't finished it. tongue.gif

Enkidu's bro (Bad_Taste) said he found a server, it's pretty funny but the players are pretty good. That was BIATCH.

The first few times I played I was made really welcome especially by Matha (hard to believe I know tongue.gif ), plus some of the regulars such as HarryH, Dougal, Scrappy, Goody, Cowboy (the mouthy shit tongue.gif ), Paul and eventually Devil (slag).

I applied to be a HO, mostly with that old slag Matha's backing and here we are!

I was shit back then, I'm shit now, but it's a good crack and I always have a laugh on the server, just what I need if I've had a shit day. banana.gif

Cant even remember why I started playing it... prehaps around version 1.3 or something. On second thoughts it might have been Tef who mentioned it so in for a penny and in for a pound, I threw myself into the game...

I was having a bad time with my personal life around then so I guess it was a way to letting off steam.

The good thing to note is I am alot better at playing now than I was then but only just laugh.gif

Like Wedge before I knew what was happening, Tef was demanding scrotes to pay for a server with a commitment that on one ever leaves biatch or else.

Dont play as much as I used to but it is good fun and its generally the only multiplayer game I play now. Inbetween playing, too busy shagging the gf... shes demanding tongue.gif

My Mums boyfriend told me how good Half-life 2 was and i purchased it and realized Counter strike source was included, which i heard alot about people saying it was the number 1 online game, but i couldnt play it cause i had shitty 56k surftime internet at the time so it wasnt till march this year i played it online and it was my first experience of playing FPS online. I couldnt beleive how difficult online play was compared to single player FPS but found it very enjoyable especially when i came across biatch which is now like my 2nd home, and i feel now im not a bad player compared to what i was biggrin.gif

Been playing CS since beta 0.9 and I was fucking amazed

it was my first play at online games because I'd only just got the internet, before that I played HL DM with bots that my mate would download of the net for me.

Back in the days when the only map for the game was mansion and i loved it, played all the way through to the early days of 1.6 and thats when 56k just wasn't good enough for it anymore. Left it fgor nearly 2 years until I finnaly got broadband in february and thats when I picked up source and loved it.

BIATCH server was the firs server I went on because a college mate gave me the IP and ive not looked back

Well i played the game a few months ago and my first experience was getting banned by Devil{no suprize there}he was getting owned by me but i didnt realize it was a knife round icon_eek.gif

Tempy sorted me out and i started playing it. Unfortunately i just couldn't get into it....im a BF2 whore, so dont play at all now. However in my short time on the server i met some great guys and occasionally get together on BF2 for a laugh.

I use the forum all the time, great crack most of the time so im still a regular in my own way.

So for me Biatch Rocks, just a shame i dont get on with CS.

I've played on and off since beta 5 I think... didn't like it at first cos it was harder than team fortress (which I used to play as a scout - running around avoiding getting shot and not killing anyone - same as CS only without the avoiding bit) but I gave it a go every now and again... got Tef into TF for a short time but then he convinced me that CS was better and I gave it one last shot and never looked back 'n' all that... I vary wildly from "better than snow" to my current "worse than Tef" sad.gif

just back playing after nearly a year away, my PC still isn't able for the bigger source maps sad.gif

Blagger U dont play CSS cause u cant shoot for shit, whereas in bf2 there r other ways of killing people such as tanks maybe thats why we dont see u on biatch anymore biggrin.gif

Edit: Blagger u should be banned from the forums for having that shite as ur avatar

Some nice stories, I like alot of you have been playing since the start. and when i got cable in uni i would play for upto 16 hours a day. then sleep for a couple, could eat and play at the same time, only left my room to use the bog and go to uni once a week. hehee man they were hardcore times.

And Tempy I remember my duke / doom etc.. days with very fond memories. the sieriel link between to 486 machines. them were the days smile.gif

as for if i was the same standard, id say that i have probably gotten worse. but hey i have also gotten more lazy in life smile.gif

i pursuaded the girlfriend to buy it for me! i started playing on oki because dave told me to, then ol' hamish told me about the good old BIATCH server and i came on, and much the same as everyone else was hooked by matha! the server was the strangest bunch of misfits i ever met, and i felt right at home! biggrin.gif after a while i like to think i made some good friendships with people and applied for HO and here i am about 4-5 months down the line and have only been banned twice! laugh.gif

thanks to everyone that has made it a great server and experience!
