Prot - whatever the full/real story is, yep you got banned.
If we think someone is cheating then it's bye bye time - whether you actually were or not I don't know - whether it actually is/was your config or not, ditto. As was rightly pointed out, it's our servers, so ultimately it's our rules.
Maybe we get it wrong sometimes, maybe we get it SPOT on - either way, it's a popular server so ppl seem to like the way we run things.
Nice to see you took it like a man in the end and didn't go off into a childish rant, so respect for that.
Gear - as you say, you don't know Prot so your view of what's occured is meaningless.
Ditto what you say about how league servers run things. This is not a league server. This is a BIATCH server - end of
I am going to close this topic now because I think enough's been said about it - Prot has accepted the verdict, and nobody cares about league rules anyway, so it's pointless carrying this on.

I remember a similar debate many moons ago with scooby snacks from the ZW(ankers) clan... back when I had never heard about rates and stuff. Not sure why I mentioned that. But as regards fiddling with the way the game is played - BIATCH has always, always been about realism. That is why we have had FF turned on from day one (even when Tef is on the server
) It is one reason why I prefer AWPs to be banned - sniper rifles exist in real life, but no real-life sniper uses his gun the way CS players do... anyway (bring back autosnipers tho
).
Removing dead bodies is unrealistic - it makes the game easier. Maybe not a lot, but it does help. Anyone ever shot at a dead body by mistake before??? Making the game easier by contravening the rules of the game IS cheating, by OUR definition. Scooby, defending his rate hax, constantly pointed out that it was ok by the rules of some poxy online tourney or other. Erm, are we playing in a tournement? NO. We are playing on OUR server. So we don't give a flying, slapped-like-Tempy fook what rules other people play by. You play on our server, you play by our rules. What comes up EVERY TIME you log onto BIATCH? "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, THEN FCUK OFF". We don't have unreasonable rules. Respect the admins, Respect Crawly, Don't Cheat. A cheat doesn't have to be some hack you download off the net. A cheat can be as simple as using a marker to put a dot on the screen to mark where your AWP will fire (heard that from someone) or turning up the gamma so high you can see in the darkest of corridors. It's unrealistic, and if you don't like the realism of CS, go play Quake3 (don't get me wrong, I like quake as well, but CS is supposed to be about realism, and we have always supported that).
If you want to screw with the graphics engine to improve your FPS, well boo-hoo. I can barely play CS properly on my pocket calculator, but I'd sooner play with the occasional slow-down than cheat. Turn down the detail levels. All the way down. I had to swallow my pride and run CSS at 640x480 and play the game in a special refrigerated environment, wearing special gloves so the liquid nitrogen doesn't freeze my fingers to the keyboard. But I still play the game with realism and fairness turned all the way up. Hell I won't even turn up the brightness on my monitor so the dark passages (oo-er!) look bright as day like some people. I know that's probably a bit extreme and I am not speaking for the clan on that point. But my real point is - you play on our server, you accept our definition of "fair play" and "cheating". Either that... or you fcuk off.
Now I gotta get back to work, I've earned about 8.50 euro writing this rant...
