Does anyone know what format mp3`s have to be in to work on a css server?
If you know could you please convert this mp3 file for me

i thought it had to be a wav file unsure.gif could be wrong the best person to ask is snowy

Has anyone actually listened to that file its fucking AWESOME considered trying something like this myself once but couldn't be "arsed"

Please snowy leech that off him for the server

I personally converted some mp3's to wav but you can use mp3 format quite happily for sounds on CS:S servers.
Pyro I think you would be making something like that after you have a few sprouts at xmas dinner tongue.gif

You do realise that if that gets played on the server all play will stop as 12 Ts and 12CTs start convulsing with laughter biggrin.gif

MP3 will work fine on the server but I have found the odd one or two that dont. Will load up on a test server and see if it plays ok.

wav's need to be recorded higher than 8000 Hz
mp's need to be higher than 64kpbs

i know the format for wav files. we have a mp3 on our server that plays already, so must be just a problem with this one. think i will just convert it to wav and bzip it
